Diploma in Occupational Therapy (OT) is a 2-year program that aims to provide students with knowledge and skills to enable them to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical, psychological, and cognitive disabilities. The goal of occupational therapy, a client-centered profession, is to help people engage in worthwhile daily activities like work, self-care, and pleasure. Students must complete a set number of clinical hours in order to obtain practical experience treating patients with a range of diseases, including neurological problems, orthopaedic injuries, and mental health conditions. The course combines theoretical and practical learning.
