Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (RIT) is a 2-year academic programme that provides students with a broad knowledge of biophysical and health sciences so that they can learn how to use radio imaging equipment and processes. The course covers the theoretical study and clinical experience required to become a Radiology technician capable of performing diagnostic imaging exams on patients such as X-Rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. Medical Imaging Technology is the technique of producing visual images of the interior of a body for clinical examination and illness detection. The course provides students with a wide understanding of biophysical and health sciences, allowing them to gain theory as well as practical experience with radio imaging equipment and methods.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics in their (10+2) grade from a recognized board of education. Candidates who will be taking the (10+2) examination in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
